White coffee- “Ipoh”

Chinese Migrants when came to work in a local tin mine in the Nineteen Century, the term white coffee came into existence. Coffee beans are not actually in white color, but got popular by its color of milk. It is generally consumed after dinner.

In the World Expo 2010, Ipoh White Coffee adopted as an official drink of Malaysia. It is quite popular in Ipoh, Malaysia and Perak. Coffee beans used in Ipoh coffee is generally is roasted in the palm oil.
