O during pregnancy:
One can enjoy the different sex position associated with the pregnancy. You can enjoy these five sex positions which are safe during pregnancy and have fun. These are side by side spooning; women on the top, on the edge, sitting up, and modified missionary position.
If you are not sure about the history of your partner’s sexual history. You can use condoms for safe sex. One can protect against sexually transmitted infections- such as HIV, herpes, genital warts or chlamydia. These infections can affect your baby.
Tell your partner about your feeling and what works the best. You may need to play with positions, especially in pregnancy.
During pregnancy, it is normal for sexual desire to come and go as the body changes. You may feel sexier with larger breast or may be self-conscious about the large belly.
You have to avoid sex if your doctor have advised not have sex under the following conditions:
i) History of Miscarriage
ii) Risk of preterm bleeding
iii) Vaginal bleeding, discharge or cramping without any cause
iv) Expecting twins, triplets or other “multiples”
v) Placenta is too low in the uterus
