A headache means discomfort or pain in the head, neck, and scalp. It is a common problem, everybody can feel this pain at least one time in their life. According to World Health Organization, around 47% of adults worldwide will have experienced this problem. A headache commonly occurs alone, but it occurs with other symptoms.
Pain: Pain is a common symptom of headache. It occurs anywhere in the head. Including above the eye area, behind the head, above the ears, and top of the head. Sometimes pain feels light, but if it is increased than we need to consult a doctor.
Dizziness: Dizziness is a visual disturbance without any headache pain. It can be a sign that you are experiencing headache free migraines (disturbing brain injury). You can describe it as fainting and Weakness.
Nausea and vomiting: Dehydration is the main reason of nausea and vomiting. Nausea is the sensation that the stomach wants to empty itself, while vomiting or throwing up. It is a sick feeling in stomach. It is an indicator of disease and illness. But headache may not always be the cause of nausea.
Vertigo: vertigo is feeling that the objects around the person are moving when they are not actually moving. This type of vertigo lasts for a few moments and then disappears. But some time it is occurring impulsively or as a result of an injury, it tends to last for many hours or even days before resolving. Vertigo also affect the ears.
Tenderness of the scalp: A tension headache can also cause a softness of the scalp. Headache making the muscles tense of the scalp. It is not a common problem. In this you can feel, someone pulls your hair from the roots and you can feel weight top of your head.
Tightness sensation in the head: Tightness sensation in the head also occurred because of tension. Sometimes You experienced the effect called ”hat-band” tightness around the head. Your neck, head, and shoulder area might become hard or inflexible. This is a cause of sensation of pressure due to headache.
Stroke: “Stroke” occurs when the part of the brain loses the blood supply and stopped working. In this brain does not get enough oxygen or nutrients which can cause of brain cell to die. There are three main kinds of stroke: ischemic, hemorrhagic and TIA (transient ischemic attacks refer as a mini-stroke). Stroke is very dangerous disease.
