Easy Methods of removing acrylic nails at home

  • Method 1

 Things which are needed

  • Nail Trimmer
  • Nail polish remover
  • Glass bowl
  • Petroleum jelly
  • Clean towel
  • Moisturizing lotion
  • Nail buffer

Steps of removing procedure

  1. Firstly, Try to trim your nails as short as you can do. So, that there will be less acrylic nails left to clean up. But be careful while cutting the nails because sometimes it can hurt you.
  2. Now take a glass bowl and partially fill it with acetone nail polish remover. After that dip your nails in this liquid for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. In the third step, use nail buffer to remove the gloss and clean your nails after completing this previous step.
  4. Now repeat the first step for 15 to 20 minutes after applying the petroleum jelly around the skin that is in contact with the nail bed.
  5. When the glue comes off, then gently remove the acrylic nails but if you feel some resistance, then repeat the process given in fifth step again by dipping your nails in the bowl of acetone nail remover.
  6. To give a final finish, use a nail buffer to polish your nails.
  7. Now wash your hands properly and use moisturizing lotion on them.

  • 12 inches of dental floss
  • Orange-wood stick
  • Metal file

Steps of removing procedure

  1. In this process, the person needs a helper to proceed these steps. Firstly, pull the acrylic nails with the help of wood stick.
  2. Now take the metal nail files, use it at the tip of the nail to lift it sufficiently only to slip the dental floss.
  3. In the third step, wrap the 12 inches dental floss around the forefinger of every hand.
  4. Now with the help of a second person tenderly draw towards the end of the nail bed in a sawing movement.
  5. After this process all the acrylic nails get removed.
